You are exhausted, frustrated, and burned out.
You feel stuck on a hamster wheel.
You keep trying to get caught up on your work, find time to exercise, and get enough sleep. You feel like you are constantly working and yet you still are falling short. No matter how much effort you put into trying to change, something is getting in your way. You want to stop running in circles and actually make progress.
You are struggling with
- Stress
- Insomnia
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- Depression
- Low self-esteem
- Poor boundaries
- Procrastination
- Unhealthy behaviors
- Binge eating
- Quitting smoking
Instead of constantly rushing around, you want to be able to stop and enjoy the good things in your life. You want to break out of unhealthy behavioral patterns. You want to feel energized and happy again.
You have come to the right place.
Using an empathic, flexible approach, I meet you where you’re at and collaboratively plan how to get you where you want to be. I use effective techniques backed by research to help you get what you need to show up as your best self at work and with the people who matter most to you.
Mental health is influenced by all other areas of life. During our initial assessment, I will explore how diverse areas of your life are influencing your overall health. This may include nutrition, exercise, chronic illness, medication, sleep, finances, spirituality, social factors, or environment. I create a tailored approach that addresses these areas based on your goals.
You are busy and don’t think you have time to commit to traditional therapy. I cater to working professionals, entrepreneurs, and busy parents by offering sessions online through video telehealth to save you drive time. I offer evening hours, so you don’t have to take time off work and worry about making up for lost time when you are already so busy.
I provide tools, strategies, support, and insight.
You want results fast. While true change takes time, evidence-based practices (EBPs) have been proven to achieve treatment goals faster than traditional, supportive therapy.
EBPs are standardized treatment protocols that have been shown to be effective by extensive peer-reviewed research studies. Research shows that EBPs significantly reduce mental health symptoms. Most clients complete EBP treatment in 6 – 15 sessions.
Treatments that work
- I specialize in evidence-based practices (EBPs) such as
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Problem Solving Therapy (PST)
- Prolonged Exposure in Primary Care (PE-PC)
EBPs are helpful for targeting a specific problem. While that is sufficient for some people, others may be looking for a more extensive shift towards a healthier self.
In addition to EBPs, a treatment plan may include
- Working towards a healthy, well-balanced pattern of eating
- Establishing a regular pattern of exercise
- Improving behavioral management of a chronic illness
- Mindfulness meditation
- Improving your relationship with money
- Gaining clarity on your values and sense of meaning in life
- Decreasing or abstaining from unhealthy behaviors
- Learning to love and care for your body
A collaborative, supportive, and safe space
I create a space where you can feel secure enough to be vulnerable and face the difficult things you’ve been avoiding. My clients appreciate that I am flexible, open, calm, and efficient.
Clients who see the most success with me are motivated to work towards their goals and are ready to make changes in their lives. They may feel discouraged about their situation, but they are hard-working and take the initiative to achieve what is important to them.
Although it can be a struggle sometimes, they are ready to prioritize their mental and physical health because they know they need to be in good condition to be there for the people who rely on them.
Let’s talk to see how I can help you create the life you want to live.
